NFC Technology
What is NFC?

Near Field Communication is a technology standard based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).
Does not require an internal power source to function and can transmit information wirelessly over small distances.

NFC is a technology that allows two-way communication between a phone and an NFC tag; this communication is established when a phone is brought within approx. 1 ½” - 10 cm of the NFC tag, which usually take the form of a sticker.

A sticker is made up of two components; antenna, and a small system on a chip (SoC) that work together to form a functional device.
